“Some battles aren’t lost—they’re simply no longer yours to fight.” —Elowen
Frustration.
Sharp. Unyielding. Sometimes holy.
It comes when the heart says reach—and the world says no.
And maybe that no isn’t cruel.
Maybe it’s direction.
There are things I can’t change.
People I can’t unbreak.
Outcomes I never had the right to carry.
And when I hold on too tightly, my hands become fists.
My heart—a bruise I press against, hoping for light.
But Elowen whispers:
You can soften without giving in.
You can loosen your grip and still stand rooted.
Not everything must be wrestled. Not everything is yours to fix.
So now, I breathe.
I ask: Is this mine? Is this moment asking for movement—or surrender?
And when the answer is silence, I give it space.
I give it grace.
I let it go.
Letting go isn’t weakness.
It’s wisdom wrapped in humility.
It’s saying: I honor this truth, but I won’t lose myself trying to bend it.
And that’s the art of it:
Not abandoning care—
but reclaiming peace.

This work is protected—not to shield resignation, but to honor the clarity that comes when we finally release.
Because even resistance deserves a rest.
